Why choose 3D silicone patches?

Silicone patches suit brands that want a modern, premium feel. They are a different product from stitched patches, and the difference shows up in three places.

They have real dimensions. The design is molded, so edges, letters and shapes rise from the surface. Light catches the relief and the logo reads clearly from across a room.

They feel soft. Silicone is flexible and has a smooth hand-feel. That makes it a good fit for caps, activewear, bags and other gear that bends and moves.

Pick a size: 2" to 6"

Choose from nine sizes: 2", 2.5", 3", 3.5", 4", 4.5", 5", 5.5" or 6" (each listed in inches and millimeters in the size menu).

A few rules of thumb:

• 2" to 3" fits caps, pocket chests and sleeves.
• 3.5" to 4.5" suits jacket fronts and bag panels.
• 5" to 6" works for back panels and statement pieces.

Smaller patches need simpler artwork. If your design has small text, go up a size so the lettering stays crisp.

Single layer or double layer silicone?

Single layer is a flat molded patch with raised detail. It's clean, lightweight and the better choice for simple logos.

Double layer stacks a second molded layer on top of the first. That creates extra depth and a more sculpted, layered look, useful for emblems, crests and badges with distinct tiers.

Choose a double layer when you want the design to feel built up rather than just embossed.

Standard cut or Pre-Cut?

• Standard is cut to a standard outline.
• Pre-Cut follows the outline of your design, so the patch takes the shape of the artwork itself.

Pick Pre-Cut for logos with a distinctive silhouette, such as a shield, animal or lettering shape. Pick Standard for a classic, tidy edge.

Artwork tips for a sharp result

You can upload JPG, PNG, PDF, AI or PSD files up to 10 MB. Vector files (AI or PDF) give the cleanest molded edges, but a high-resolution PNG works for simpler designs.

To get the best patch:

• Keep it bold. Thick lines and clear color blocks mold better than hairlines.
• Mind small text. If letters are tiny, increase the patch size or simplify the wording.
• Limit gradients. Molded patches use solid color areas, not photo-style blends.
• Mark your colors. Add Pantone references or a color note in the comments box.
